Meet our interns

Lighthouse Counseling LLC is a teaching agency as we see the value in training quality professionals for the future. Due to the diversity of the background of our providers we are able to host interns from different educational backgrounds including social work, counseling, and psychology. Additionally, Lighthouse Counseling may host individuals from different disciplines while they complete their educational requirements and/or rotations. While allowing an intern to sit in on your session is not required, it can provide beneficial insight to your session and can help others going through similar situations. Our interns may assist in leading a session but they will not be providing any therapeutic treatment of any kind. As always, our clients have the right to choose to not allow for an intern to sit in on your session
